Unity teaches that all people are created with sacred worth and that no one exists outside the heart of God. Its basic principles state that God is Good, and because all people exist within God, they also are inherently good. We are an LGBTQ affirming and supportive spiritual community. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning people serve at all levels of leadership. Both in our movement and at our local center.
Unity of Springfield has long supported the marriage commitments of the LGBTQ+ community. We offer full, legal wedding support for any couple that seeks it. All our ministers are available to officiate same-sex and same-gender wedding ceremonies.

Worthy is a booklet from Unity Worldwide Ministries that offers spiritual support from LGBTQ writers who overcame years of rejection to see themselves as dynamic expressions of God.
It Includes raw, powerful stories from the LGBTQ community—including Unity ministers and others who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning.
