Meditation

In Unity, meditation is a vital tool for deepening one’s awareness of God’s presence and aligning with divine guidance. Join us every Sunday at 6:00 PM for our weekly group meditation, where we come together to experience the transformative power of collective stillness and mindfulness.

Affirmations

In Unity, affirmations are paired with denials, which are statements that release negative beliefs and thoughts that no longer serve us. Planet Unity 2025
April 18-19, “Our Power, Our Planet”
Planet Unity is a local Earth Day celebration in Springfield, dedicated to raising consciousness and awareness about environmental issues. Organized by Unity of Springfield, this event emphasizes the principles of environmental stewardship and sustainable living. Throughout the year, Unity of Springfield integrates these values into their community practices, promoting a harmonious relationship with nature.
The Unity Movement
The Unity Movement was founded in the late 19th century by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, who sought spiritual healing and enlightenment through metaphysical teachings and positive thinking. Rooted in the New Thought tradition, Unity emphasizes the presence of God within each person and the transformative power of prayer and affirmative thinking. Over time, Unity evolved into a global spiritual community, offering practical teachings for healthy, abundant and meaningful living.

Sunday Mornings
Join us for our Sunday morning services at Unity of Springfield, where we offer inspiring messages, uplifting music, and a welcoming community dedicated to spiritual growth and positive living.
We have an adult Sunday school class, the New Thought & world Religion class at 9:15 AM and the primary Celebration Service at 11:00 AM.
Youth & Family
We offer engaging nursery and youth programs designed for children and teenagers of all ages, providing a space to explore spirituality in ways that resonate with them. Parents, we kindly ask you to arrive early to ensure your children are comfortably settled in.

Unity of Springfield’s Crisis Cold Weather Shelter provides a safe and warm refuge for individuals in need during extreme cold weather conditions. Our shelter opens its doors to offer comfort, support, and essential services, ensuring the well-being of our community members when they need it most. By fostering a compassionate and inclusive environment, we aim to protect lives and promote dignity during challenging times.
Food Pantry

Open to all, our pantry offers support and sustenance, ensuring that no one in Springfield, MO goes hungry.
